A very fine French violin labelled and signed by Honore Derazey, and unusually countersigned internally by J. B. Vuillaume. This instrument sounds exceptionally good and would be well suited to a professional violinist. The violin has quite recently been the subject of a full front off overhaul in the Simon Dubber Violins workshop and despite a couple of old, repaired cracks is in excellent condition. It also benefits from a certificate of authenticity issued by L. P. Balmforth and Son of Leeds in 1969.
